All About the MAT

The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust was established in April 2013 to provide Church schools within the Diocese with an academy trust based on Christian values for schools converting to an academy. Our aim is that each academy will provide an inspirational and holistic education which enables all children and staff to develop and achieve to their full potential

The core mission of the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust is to build a better future for all within our Academies who in turn will positively impact their communities.

There are currently twelve schools within the Multi Academy Trust across Coventry and Warwickshire. We believe that by working together as a family of schools built on the foundations of a strong Christian ethos and through sharing our skills, expertise and support we can achieve our aims whilst providing a high quality educational experience for you and your children. There has been great progress across the Trust since opening and the value of being part of the Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust has been recognised by Ofsted inspectors in the recent report for Stretton CofE Academy which was graded outstanding in 2015. Inspectors reported that “the many highly productive links with the Multi-Academy Trust have assisted the transformation of the academy. Regular visits from a representative of the trust focused on improvements in the academy and collaboration with other academies in the trust and have helped to accelerate the pace of necessary changes.”
